I am a bride over 40-Should I wear a veil with a blusher, and why or why not?
I am getting married in a few weeks to the most wonderful man, and neither one of us have been married before.
Should I wear a veil with a blusher and have my fiance lift this before the ceremony, or should I just have a simple, elbow length veil?
The veil is lifted from the Bride’s face either in the beginning of the ceremony by her escort/Father (Who gives this Bride in marriage?) or before the Bride and Groom kiss at the end of the ceremony. The Groom does not lift the veil before the ceremony begins. Very few Brides wear a blusher in front of their face today, they want to avoid messing up their hair when it is moved back.
