Well if you say it was like a canary then it was probably a type of canary. I’ve seen them before, they remind me of the Beatles for some reason. Did it look like the bird had a bowl cut? Were the brown feathers short with kind of a bald spot in the middle? If yes then I think you’re talking about a ‘crested canary’.
