What do I wear to an afternoon wedding, evening reception?

I take at a wedding in Arizona, in January. His wedding in the afternoon, evening reception and I'm at a loss of what to wear. The days are warm and the nights are cold. I do not mind wearing a scarf or something, but I'm looking all over I (25). Please Help!

I'm 28 and live in Arizona and can tell you that you pay a fine cocktail dress at the ceremony will be. I guess the reception will be held in closed rooms? If so you always a pashmina (I'm a replaced by Nordstrom's). In January, may be a bit cold when you are outdoors for long, but should be a pashmina able to keep you warm. Another idea would be really nice would be to search all year. I think like Dita Von Teese style. You could wear a cute vintage dress either have black or silver, and then a faux mink stole / wrap. You might also be a cute hat to your outfit. It would be very classy, fashion, and certainly not old. See pictures below ideas ….
