This is too elegant for the Marine Corps Ball?
My husband and I went for the ball 2 years ago, but did not enter, because he committed in the past year had. I was wearing a black short dress last time was, and in Hawaii, where she appeared as non-formal. Now we're in WA and I've heard it's quite formal here. I like this dress, but I'm back and forth, because it seems TOO elegant or inappropriate. I just want another opinion. If I do wear it, I would not wear any Jewelry, and my hair pulled back in a chaotic low (but beautiful) bun. Thank you!
